My heart goes to you guys who made such an effort in bringing out the goodness of your roots. I salute you! How I wish that more of this kind would come out thru this medium. it spreads like a wildfire. I just hope that people like your group would come out and participate especially on worthwhile topics and issues that concerns the lives of the folks in the province, I mean the whole of Eastern Samar. I really admire your website and this forum, in particular. I may not be very familiar with the place, but my heart still lingers its beauty and simplicity, the heartwarming people, the fresh foods, are only but some of my treasured memories. Eastern Samar is a promised land, I firmly believe that with the kind of people that we have there, vision could certainly come into reality, only if true and faithful leadership would emerge and lead its people into a place of greatness. Calamities cannot be an scapegoat in its backward economy. it lies in everyone's willingness to uplift their lives. we seek for somebody who has the true vision of change and progress. it does not need a politician to do that. the cooperative efforts of the community suffices. We should perhaps look at what we can do to help for a progressive Eastern Samar. Lest we fail in our vision, we should not stop but rather continue our fight towards development. I believe in the people of Eastern Samar. The hope lies within all of us! (my roots are from Borongan)
